My Story
I come from Oahu, Hawai'i, where diversity is a way of life. Treating everyone like family has been a big part of my upbringing, fostering deeper connections. I believe that understanding and embracing differences allows us to empathize on a more profound level than simply viewing others as strangers.
I gravitated towards user experience design due to its inherent focus on assisting people. I take pleasure in crafting products that are not only user-friendly but also have a meaningful and transformative impact on users' lives.
I have hands-on experience at the forefront of technology and human interaction, having worked at Apple and Cash App for over eight years. Throughout this period, I've had the opportunity to meet and assist thousands of people from around the globe. Regardless of the diverse backgrounds, one constant remains—I assisted them in selecting products tailored to their individual needs.
Creating a remarkable experience necessitates careful curation. Through user experience design, you can discern and address the needs of your users by gaining insights into their pain points and requirements.
Outside of work, I cherish spending quality time with my wife and our two beloved dogs. Whether we're tending to our garden in the backyard or embarking on adventures across Oregon, we're always seeking out new experiences together. Exploring quaint mom-and-pop shops downtown or discovering hidden gems while traveling fuels our sense of adventure and curiosity.
During quieter moments, I indulge in my favorite hobby of calligraphy, honing my skills and finding tranquility in the art of penmanship. Whether it's creating elegant lettering or simply practicing strokes, calligraphy allows me to express creativity and find joy in the process.
